Jessica Fox Wins Two Gold Medals in Paris and Sets a Record

Australian canoeist Jessica Fox showcased her exceptional skill at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, winning two gold medals in canoe slalom.

In the women’s single canoe event, Fox confidently took first place, reaffirming her status as one of the greatest athletes in this sport’s history.

Jessica Fox was born on June 11, 1994, in France but has represented Australia on the global stage since the age of 18, beginning with her debut at the 2012 Olympics in London, where she won a silver medal.

In the years following, Fox continued to collect awards, adding bronze medals at the 2016 and 2020 Olympics.

Paris 2024 was a triumph for Jessica Fox: not only did she repeat her success in the single canoe, but she also won the women’s single kayak event.

Jessica Fox has won a total of 22 medals at the World Canoe Slalom Championships, including 14 gold medals.

She is recognized as the most successful athlete in the history of these championships. Fox has achieved first place 12 times in the C1 class and 8 times in the K1 class.
