Eileen Gu is an outstanding freestyle skier who has become a symbol of the new wave of winter sports.
At the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, Eileen delivered an exceptional performance in three disciplines: she won gold in the halfpipe thanks to her flawless style and complex tricks, and she also became the champion in big air by performing a unique Double Cork 1620, which brought her historic fame.
In slopestyle, she won silver, narrowly missing the top spot, but showcased a high level of technique and creativity.
At the 2021 FIS Freestyle Ski and Snowboarding World Championships in Aspen, Eileen won two gold medals in halfpipe and slopestyle, as well as a bronze in big air.
Eileen Gu was born on September 3, 2003, in San Francisco, USA, and started skiing at the age of 3, inspired by her mother's active lifestyle.
By the age of 8, she was already competing in youth leagues, and in 2019 she debuted on the international stage.
