On the evening of March 7, a shooting occurred at a pub in Toronto, injuring 12 people, reports the Toronto Police.
According to law enforcement, unknown individuals opened fire on patrons in a Scarborough venue before fleeing the scene.
Six of the victims sustained gunshot wounds. Preliminary reports indicate that their lives are not in danger.
The victims range in age from 20 to 50. Others suffered injuries due to the panic-induced stampede.
Toronto Police have already identified three suspects and are conducting an active search. Authorities have deployed all available resources to locate the perpetrators.
Residents have been urged to report any information that may assist in the investigation.
Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow expressed her concern about the incident, stating that city officials are working closely with law enforcement to ensure the swift apprehension of those responsible.
