Elon Musk called Starlink a key factor on the front line and proposed sanctions against Ukrainian oligarchs, considering it a solution to the conflict.

American billionaire Elon Musk stated on his social media account X that the Starlink satellite system plays a crucial role in Ukraine's military operations.
According to him, if he disables the service, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ front line will collapse.
“I literally challenged Putin to a one-on-one fight through Ukraine, and my Starlink system is the backbone of the Ukrainian army. Their entire front line will collapse if I turn it off,” Musk wrote.
The businessman also expressed concern over the prolonged military conflict, emphasizing that it would inevitably lead to Ukraine's defeat.
Additionally, the billionaire proposed sanctions against ten Ukrainian oligarchs, particularly those who own property in Monaco.
This was his response to a user's complaint about the cost of displaying a large Ukrainian flag near the White House in Washington, D.C.
Earlier, Polish Minister of Digital Technologies Krzysztof Gawkowski warned that cutting off Starlink for Ukraine would trigger an international crisis. He stressed that Poland would continue to fund access to the network.
Meanwhile, France is considering an alternative to Starlink through the operator Eutelsat, while the European Commission is looking for ways to support Ukraine's satellite communications.
