Apple urges iPhone users to update their operating system to iOS 18.3.2 immediately, as reported by Daily Mail.

The reason is the critical CVE-2025-24201 vulnerability discovered in WebKit, which powers the Safari browser and other internet applications on Apple devices.

Experts have determined that hackers exploited this bug to create malicious websites. Visiting such pages allowed attackers to bypass browser security and gain access to the device owner’s data.

This posed a threat to users of iPhone XS and later models, as well as iPads and Macs running macOS Sequoia.

According to Apple, the vulnerability was used in targeted attacks on a "narrow set of victims," but the company recommends that all device owners install the update immediately.

To do this, open "Settings," go to "General," and select "Software Update."

Apple regularly releases security patches, and this is already the third vulnerability patched in 2025. Experts warn that timely installation of updates is crucial for avoiding security risks.

Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 17 lineup in September 2025, following its tradition of holding annual presentations in this month.

The exact date has not yet been announced, but the company usually hosts events in the second week of September. Pre-orders typically open a few days after the presentation, with official sales starting about a week later.

Previously, it was reported that TikTok is strengthening parental controls and introducing nighttime restrictions, adding meditation features and reminders to reduce app usage among teenagers.

It was also revealed that Poland has introduced PLLuM – a national language AI designed to enhance digital services, support businesses, and assist government institutions.
