On Saturday, March 22, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk posted a video on social platform X showing a group of migrants approaching the Polish-Belarusian border from the Belarusian side.
According to him, the people were “most likely deliberately transported by Belarusians” to the location of the Polish delegation’s visit.

Tusk arrived at the border area together with Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Interior Minister Tomasz Siemoniak.
The visit took place amid ongoing provocations at the border, which Polish authorities attribute to hybrid actions from Minsk and Moscow.
According to the Prime Minister, 11,000 soldiers and officers have been deployed to secure the border. Poland has already invested 3 billion zloty in strengthening its border defenses.
Tusk emphasized that the country is now almost fully blocking illegal crossings and maintains firm control of the situation.
Earlier, Poland decided to temporarily suspend asylum requests from migrants entering via Belarus. The law has been approved by parliament and is expected to come into effect soon.
Exceptions will be made only for vulnerable individuals — including unaccompanied minors and pregnant women. Authorities believe this measure will reduce risks to soldiers and border officers.
