On Friday, March 28, around 4:00 p.m. local time, a shooting occurred in the Dutch city of Oosterhout (North Brabant province), leaving two people dead and one injured, according to Omroep Brabant.

The incident began on Loevensteinlaan street, where police found multiple shell casings.

About 200 meters from the shooting site, officers found a car with two injured men inside: one died at the scene, the other was taken to the hospital.

Later, another vehicle was discovered in a different part of the neighborhood, containing the body of a third victim.

According to local media, the vehicles were nose-to-nose, and bullet holes were visible on one of the car doors. So far, no suspects have been arrested, and police do not rule out that one of the deceased may have been the shooter.

Special intervention units, a helicopter, and K9 teams are working at the scene. Witnesses are urged to come forward with any information.

As a reminder, yesterday in central Amsterdam, an unknown man with a knife attacked pedestrians, injuring five people, including tourists from the U.S., Poland, and Belgium, as well as a local resident.
