In recent hours, IDF units launched a ground operation in the Al Janina area of Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip.

The goal of the operation is to expand the security zone and dismantle terrorist infrastructure.

During the mission, Israeli forces dismantled fortifications and facilities belonging to Hamas.

At the same time, the Israeli Air Force, together with the ISA, carried out a series of airstrikes on Hamas and Islamic Jihad positions across the Strip.

Weapons storage facilities, rocket launchers, buildings used by militants, and other key targets were hit.

Over the weekend, the strikes eliminated dozens of militants, including those who had launched mortar attacks on Israeli territory.

Earlier, the IDF had already intensified activity in Rafah, advancing and striking Hamas infrastructure. As a result, several strategic targets were destroyed, including a command center used by militants in northern Gaza.
