Two children missing in the Netherlands: police issue Amber Alert and conduct searches
In Dalfsen (Netherlands), police are searching for 11-year-old Leya’Nyssa and 6-year-old M’Qaydian — children who were presumably abducted on Monday morning.

On Monday around 8:00 a.m. local time, two children went missing in the Dutch town of Dalfsen: 11-year-old girl Leya’Nyssa and 6-year-old boy M’Qaydian.
According to police reports, they may have been abducted. As a result, an Amber Alert was urgently issued — a special notification used only in cases where there is a serious threat to the life and health of minors.
The police have expressed deep concern for the children's well-being and have mobilized significant resources to find them.
At this time, the whereabouts of Leya’Nyssa and M’Qaydian remain unknown. Investigators are considering abduction, specifically suspecting that someone known to the children may be involved. However, no further details have been released in order to protect the integrity of the investigation.
Alongside the search in Dalfsen, police carried out a raid in Enschede, which authorities have confirmed is directly connected to the ongoing case.
The objectives and results of this operation have not yet been disclosed.
On Monday afternoon, photos and details of the children were published on the official police website. It was noted that their surnames were withheld for ethical reasons — such information can have long-term effects on minors.
Authorities are asking anyone with information about the children's possible whereabouts, vehicles involved, or individuals connected to the disappearance to call 0800-6070 immediately. If the children are seen, the public is urged to call emergency services at 112 without delay.
Earlier, it was reported that Amsterdam police identified the man who stabbed five people in the city center as a 30-year-old Ukrainian from Donetsk region who had previously concealed his identity.
