Paramount Pictures has released the official trailer for the eighth installment of the iconic spy franchise starring Tom Cruise — "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning".
The video features iconic scenes from previous films, including the Kremlin explosion from "Ghost Protocol".
A standout moment is a line from Henry Czerny's character — former IMF director Eugene Kittridge: “They actually planned to blow him up.”
According to the creators, this film will conclude the story: “Every decision, every mission — it all led to this.” The theatrical premiere is scheduled for May.
Mission: Impossible
The "Mission: Impossible" franchise began in 1996 and has earned over $3.5 billion globally in nearly 30 years.
Each film is known for its spectacular stunts, many of which Tom Cruise performed himself. The latest films have been directed by Christopher McQuarrie.
The plot centers around Ethan Hunt — an agent of the secret IMF service, who saves the world from large-scale threats.
