United Kingdom — Ukraine has received the second tranche of a British loan worth £752 million as part of the international Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration Loans for Ukraine programme.

The funds are allocated for the purchase of critical military equipment, air defence systems, artillery, and spare parts for vehicle repairs.

The financing is provided through profits from frozen Russian assets in the EU and is part of a total loan of £2.26 billion agreed on March 1 between the UK and Ukraine.

The first tranche was transferred on March 6, and the third is expected in 2026.

Defence Secretary John Healey stated that 2025 will be a decisive year for Ukraine, and the UK is increasing support, including a new £250 million package for drones, mines, and radars.

According to the Treasury, most of the servicing and procurement expenditures will be made in the UK, further supporting the economy and creating jobs.

Earlier, meetings in Paris and London were held with defence ministers from thirty countries, where potential steps to strengthen support for Ukraine and establish a stable and just peace were discussed.
