USA — Federal charges have been filed against 40-year-old Jamison Wagner of Albuquerque in connection with two arson attacks—at a Tesla dealership and the New Mexico Republican Party headquarters.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, the crimes occurred on February 9 and March 30, 2025.

Investigators report that on the night of February 9, an unknown individual set fire to two vehicles near the Tesla dealership in Albuquerque. One vehicle was completely destroyed, and a glass container with improvised napalm and handwritten symbols was found nearby. The building’s facade and several cars were spray-painted with “Tesla Nazi Inc” and swastikas.

The second incident occurred on March 30 near the Republican Party office. The front door was damaged by fire, and the phrase “ICE=KKK” was found on the wall.

Surveillance cameras captured the suspect arriving in a white Hyundai Accent, leaving a device, and driving away.

Authorities linked the two incidents based on similarities in the incendiary devices and graffiti.

Wagner became a suspect due to his resemblance to the individual seen on the footage and because he owns a vehicle similar to the one at both crime scenes.

Earlier it was reported that in the state of Pennsylvania, a man was arrested after breaking into the home of Governor Josh Shapiro and starting a fire using homemade explosive devices while the family was asleep inside.
