France. Next week, a new round of talks will be held in London with senior diplomats from the US, UK, France, Germany and Ukraine, reports The Guardian.

The decision to meet again followed talks in Paris initiated by French President Emmanuel Macron, which were described as “excellent”.

Participants included US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Donald Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff, and the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak.

Andriy Yermak shared details of the talks between the Ukrainian delegation and US officials, as well as European diplomats.

According to him, Ukraine reiterated its readiness for a complete ceasefire — a condition Kyiv had already agreed to on March 11 in Jeddah.

During the bilateral meeting with the US delegation, which included Secretary of State Marco Rubio and special envoys Steve Witkoff and Keith Kellogg, the sides discussed possible steps toward a sustainable peace.

Special attention was given to building a system of security guarantees.

Later, the Ukrainian side held broader talks with advisers to the leaders of France, the United Kingdom, and Germany.

All participants agreed that a complete ceasefire should be the first step toward a lasting peace settlement.

Humanitarian issues were also raised — the return of children taken to Russia and the release of prisoners.
