On April 22, a new aggressive advertising campaign against illegal migrants was launched in the United States.

Information about this was published on the official website of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced the launch of multilingual videos on television, the internet, and messengers, targeting both domestic and international audiences.

The videos contain harsh messages urging illegal migrants to leave the country voluntarily using the CBP Home mobile app, warning them of fines up to $1,000 per day, imprisonment, and deportation.

According to Noem, criminals among migrants — "rapists, murderers, and pedophiles" — have already been punished thanks to Donald Trump's policies.

The campaign's goal is to scare violators and prevent new attempts at illegal border crossings.

Earlier, U.S. authorities temporarily halted green card processing for asylum seekers and refugees, citing the need for enhanced security checks and concerns over potential fraud in applications.

It was also reported that Donald Trump introduced a new "golden card" — a $5 million visa, which he claims offers more benefits than the traditional green card and provides a new legal pathway to enter the U.S.
