Russia attacked Ukraine at night: casualties and dozens Injured

Last night, Russia launched a massive strike on Ukrainian territory, firing 142 drones and 4 ballistic missiles. This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
More than half of the drones were "Shaheds". The capital was hit twice. First by missiles, then by drones in the morning. In Kyiv, seven people were injured, including four children. A woman and her son were killed.
At the same time, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Zhytomyr regions, as well as Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, came under fire. In Sumy region, in the village of Velyka Chernechchyna, after a missile strike, Russian forces began dropping aerial bombs—right during rescue operations.
Zelenskyy emphasized that only increased sanctions and pressure on Russia would pave the way to peace. He thanked partner countries for their support and the supply of air defense systems.
Earlier it was reported that in Bortnychi and Boryspil, unexploded cluster munitions dropped from drones detonated after the attack on Kyiv. Rescuers worked at the scene, and residents are urged to remain cautious.
It was also reported that as a result of kamikaze drone attacks on Zhytomyr region, civilian infrastructure was damaged, police officers were injured, and one civilian was hospitalized.
