Tragedy in Poland: BMW plowed into crowd, many Injured
A mass motorsport show in Krosno, Poland, turned into a tragedy — a driver veered into the crowd. Eighteen people were injured, two are in intensive care. The police have already arrested the driver and the event organizer.

A serious accident occurred on Sunday, May 25, at the airfield in Krosno, Poland, during a motorsport event. The information was published on the police website.
Around 12:30 p.m., a 27-year-old BMW driver lost control and at high speed flew off the track — directly into the area where spectators were standing.
A total of 18 people were injured, 14 of them with varying degrees of injuries were urgently hospitalized in Krosno, Jasło, Sanok, and Rzeszów.
According to the latest information, five of the injured remain in the hospital, two are in serious condition, and one is in intensive care on life support.
The next day, May 26, the police arrested the organizer of the car show. According to Krosno police spokesman Paweł Buczyński, reported by korsosanockie.pl, the man is suspected of endangering the lives and health of many people — the case was initiated under Article 165 of the Polish Penal Code.
Earlier, the driver who caused the crash had already been taken into custody.
Investigators are looking into who was responsible for safety at the event, how the spectator area was organized, and on what basis the vehicle was allowed to race.
Forensics officers are still working at the scene, and police are asking eyewitnesses to provide photos and videos.
It was previously reported that a serious accident occurred in central Warsaw — two trams collided on a busy route. Nineteen people were injured, eleven of whom suffered head injuries and other traumas requiring hospitalization.
