On the night of June 6, Russia launched over 400 drones and more than 40 missiles at Ukraine, including ballistic ones.

The strikes hit nine regions: Volyn, Lviv, Ternopil, Kyiv, Sumy, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, and Chernihiv.

Some targets were intercepted, but not all. This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to the latest data, 49 people were injured. Three State Emergency Service workers were killed — they were caught in the shelling while performing their duties.

Rescue operations are ongoing, and more people may be trapped under the rubble. Medics, firefighters, and utility services are working on the scene.

Zelensky noted that Russia continues to deliberately attack peaceful cities and infrastructure.

The President urged international partners to act decisively: “If someone does not pressure Russia and gives the war more time, that is already complicity.”

Earlier it was reported that during the night of June 6, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched precise strikes on Russian airfields in Saratov and Ryazan regions. Fires broke out at the facilities, and fuel depots detonated — smoke plumes were visible for many kilometers.
