A powerful attack occurred today in southern Israel, injuring at least 65 people.
As reported by Magen David Adom, dozens of paramedic and medical teams are working at the scene. Three of the injured are in serious condition: a man around 80 years old and two women around 70.
Two other women, approximately 80 years old, were moderately injured. The rest sustained minor injuries — shrapnel wounds and effects from the blast wave.
Additionally, 18 people suffered bruises and trauma while rushing to shelters.
The head of MDA emergency services, Eli Bin, immediately ordered the preparation of a large-scale evacuation. Four intensive care buses have been sent to the southern region.
They are equipped with 23 intensive care beds and can accommodate up to 50 lightly injured patients. The vehicles are already on site and ready to transport victims to central hospitals in the country.
Medics continue to comb the shelled area in search of possible casualties. Updates to follow shortly.
It also became known that during the shelling in Haifa, doctors successfully performed a cesarean section in an underground shelter, where three girls — triplets — were born and saved thanks to a fully equipped operating room.
