WASHINGTON, June 23. U.S. President Donald Trump announced on his official @realDonaldTrump account that a full ceasefire agreement had been reached between Israel and Iran.
According to him, the truce will take effect six hours after both sides complete their ongoing operations and will last 12 hours for each side.
Israel will begin its ceasefire 12 hours after Iran, and after 24 hours the conflict will be officially declared over.
Trump expressed confidence that the agreement would be honored and congratulated both countries on their resilience, courage, and wisdom.
He emphasized that the war could have lasted for years and destabilized the entire region, but in his view, this scenario was successfully avoided.
In conclusion, he thanked all parties and called for peace in the Middle East.
