The Israeli army continues large-scale operations against terrorists in the Gaza Strip. According to IDF data, just in the past 24 hours, eight militants hiding in a headquarters were eliminated, and the air force struck 140 targets — from weapon depots to rocket launchers.
At night, fighters from the 99th Division spotted two terrorists trying to plant an explosive device near Israeli positions. Their actions were noticed in time, and an airstrike was carried out on their coordinates — both were neutralized.
At the same time, the 36th Division expanded the clearance zone, eliminating dozens of militants and destroying hundreds of underground infrastructure sites.
In addition, Israeli Navy vessels shelled targets in the southern part of the Strip.
The operations are being conducted in close cooperation between the army and intelligence services, aiming to minimize the threat to Israeli soldiers and neutralize terrorist cells.
