In Izhevsk (Udmurtia, Russia), explosions occurred on the night of Monday — according to a report by Andriy Kovalenko, head of Ukraine’s Center for Countering Disinformation, the attack targeted a key defense facility — the Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant 'Kupol'.

According to information from Petro Andriushchenko, head of Ukraine’s Center for the Study of Occupation, citing the analytical channel 'CyberBoroshno', at least two strikes were carried out by an AN-196 'Liutyi' drone.

The 'Kupol' plant is part of the 'Almaz-Antey' concern and manufactures Tor air defense systems and Harpyia-A1 drones, which are actively used by the Russian army against Ukraine.

Despite sanctions and a shortage of components, the plant continued operating in multiple shifts.

According to the official version of Russia’s Ministry of Defense, allegedly 60 Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight in various regions — from the Kursk region to occupied Crimea.

However, strikes on defense facilities inside Russia are becoming increasingly accurate and damaging.
