Meteorologists warn: deadly rains in the US, weather anomaly in Europe, and heatwave in Israel (Video)
While Israel is suffering from heat, Europe is drenched by rain, and Texas faces a climate tragedy. The flooding has claimed dozens of lives, including children. And it's not over yet.

Israel is preparing for a hot week: temperatures will rise to 33°C in the mountains and exceed the seasonal norm by 2 degrees. By the weekend, it will get even hotter, reports the Meteorological Service. The summer weather remains stable, and the Mediterranean Sea is calm—especially around Rosh HaNikra.
The picture is completely different in Europe. A wave of record heat that swept across the south of the continent will be replaced by a sharp drop in temperatures. In Central Europe, temperatures will fall below 20°C.
Heavy rains and flooding are expected in Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, and northeastern Italy. However, within a week, the heat will return, and thermometers will once again rise above 40°C.
The most severe situation is in the US. In Central Texas, the Guadalupe River rose 8 meters in just 45 minutes following torrential rain.
The water rose 8 meters in just 45 minutes, claiming at least 51 lives, including 15 children. Twenty-seven girls from Camp Mystic are reported missing and are being searched for by rescuers.
State authorities have deployed a thousand specialists, 14 helicopters, and 10 drones. They are evacuating people from trailer parks, campgrounds, and homes submerged by floodwaters. Governor Greg Abbott declared a state of disaster in 15 counties and requested federal assistance.
The National Weather Service warns: more heavy rains are expected in the next 48 hours, which could hamper rescue efforts and worsen the damage.
Scientists explain this as a result of global warming: warm air holds more moisture, and when it meets cold air masses in the atmosphere, powerful storms and downpours can quickly form.
Earlier it was reported that a powerful storm hit France. After an exhausting heatwave, the country was struck by heavy rain, squally winds, and lightning. Streets in Paris were flooded, thousands of homes were left without electricity, dozens of people were injured, and a child died in one region.
