In a Bundesliga match that took place on December 9 in Frankfurt, the local soccer club "Eintracht" achieved a stunning victory over the renowned Munich team "Bayern". Thomas Tuchel's "Bayern" team suffered their most significant defeat since 2019, losing with a landslide score of 5-1.

Goals for "Eintracht" were scored by Omar Marmoush, Erik Dina Ebimbe (two goals), Hugo Larsson, and Ansgar Knauff, while the only goal for "Bayern" was scored by Joshua Kimmich.

This success allowed "Eintracht" to break a streak of two defeats and occupy seventh place in the Bundesliga standings with 21 points. Meanwhile, for "Bayern," this was their first defeat of the season and the most significant in the last four years, leaving them in second place in the table with 32 points, three points behind the leader "Bayer".

"The end. We lose in Frankfurt," "Bayern" commented on the outcome of the match with "Eintracht".

In the 15th round of the regular Bundesliga championship, "Eintracht" will play away against "Bayer," while "Bayern" will meet "Stuttgart" on their home field.

Previously, we reported that the famous soccer coach Mircea Lucescu expressed doubts and dissatisfaction with UEFA's decision to allow the Kazakhstan national team to participate in the 2024 European Football Championship. He considers this decision unusual since Kazakhstan is geographically located in Central Asia, not in Europe.

Nevertheless, Kazakhstan showed good results in the qualifiers, scoring 18 points and defeating strong opponents. They have a chance to qualify through the Nations League playoffs, where they will first play against Greece and then, if successful, meet the winner of the Georgia - Luxembourg pair.

Also, boxers Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury will meet on February 17, 2024, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in a fight for the title of the absolute world heavyweight champion. This bout will be decisive for all four major titles in this weight category: Usyk defends his three titles WBA, WBO, and IBF, while Fury stands for his WBC title.

Originally scheduled for December 23, the fight had to be postponed. Usyk and Fury also agreed on the possibility of a rematch after this bout. This fight will be historic, as it will be the first time all four titles among leading boxing organizations will be determined.
