Ukrainian Forces Successfully Repel a Massive Offensive in Donbas
On Sunday, Ukrainian forces successfully repelled 36 attacks by Russian occupiers in the Donetsk region, destroying 11 tanks and 15 armored vehicles

On Sunday, December 10, according to information broadcasted by Alexander Shtupun, representative of the Unified Press Center of the Taurian Direction Defense Forces, the Russian army launched a large-scale offensive in the Donetsk region, in the areas of Avdiivka and Maryinka.
This offensive was accompanied by the use of heavy armored vehicles.
Shtupun specified that as part of this offensive, Russian forces actively used air support, carrying out 15 strikes with guided bombs during the day.
He also reported that Ukrainian defensive forces successfully withstood these attacks, repelling 36 enemy offensives in various locations, including Novobakhmutivka, Avdiivka, areas to the north and south of these cities, as well as in the areas of Pervomaiskyi and Nevelskyi.
Furthermore, 12 attacks were repelled in the areas of Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, and Novomykhailivka.
According to Shtupun, Russian troops attempted to advance both north and south of Avdiivka, forming columns of tanks and armored personnel carriers.
On the same day, he stated, the Ukrainian army destroyed 11 Russian tanks and 15 armored vehicles, and also inflicted damage on other units of the enemy's armored forces.
Shtupun emphasized the resilience of the Ukrainian military, noting that the enemy suffered significant losses in personnel.
He also added that the Russian army is experiencing difficulties in replenishing its reserves, leading to situations where new soldiers are forced to use protective equipment from the wounded and deceased.
