The United States of America plans to announce on Tuesday a new package of military support for Ukraine, totaling $300 million. This was reported by "Interfax-Ukraine".

This package will include ATACMS ballistic missiles capable of hitting targets up to 160 kilometers away and equipped with cluster munitions.

In addition, Ukraine will receive 155 mm caliber artillery shells and guided missiles for multiple launch rocket systems, such as the M270 MLRS and M142 HIMARS.

The funding for this tranche will be provided from previously saved Pentagon funds, although this solution is temporary and does not replace the need for additional funding.

Previously, last year, the American administration requested additional funds from Congress to support Ukraine and Israel, including $61.4 billion for aid to Kyiv, but this proposal has not yet been approved.

In October, it was revealed that the US had secretly supplied Ukraine with long-range ATACMS missiles, allowing the Ukrainian army to strike targets far beyond the front line.

Earlier, as part of cooperation with France, Estonia, and the Czech Republic, Denmark announced it would provide Ukraine with military aid worth $330 million, which will include Caesar artillery systems and necessary ammunition.
