Eight quarterfinalists of the Europa League determined after March 14 matches
In the second-leg matches of the 1/8 finals of the Europa League, 8 quarterfinal teams were identified; the draw will take place on March 15
On Thursday, March 14, the second-leg games of the Europa League 1/8 finals took place, following which the teams continuing the fight for the title were determined.
The clubs that have advanced to the quarterfinals of the tournament are:
- West Ham FC from England;
- Marseille FC from France;
- Benfica FC from Portugal;
- Milan FC from Italy;
- Liverpool FC from England;
- Atalanta FC from Italy;
- Roma FC from Italy;
- Bayer FC from Germany.
The draw ceremony for the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals will take place on March 15 in Nyon, starting at 13:00 Central European Time.
There will be no seeded teams or restrictions in the draw, matches between teams from the same country or those that have already met in the group stage are possible.
The quarterfinal matches are scheduled for April 11 and 18, the semifinals - for May 2 and 9, and the final will take place on May 22 in Dublin.
Previously, after Lazio's unsuccessful performance in the home match against Udinese, Maurizio Sarri left his post as the head coach of the club. He will be replaced by Giovanni Martusciello.
