Bridget Jones Returns: Renee Zellweger in the Lead Role of the Fourth Part

In the new part of the cult series of films about Bridget Jones, which will be called "Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy", viewers will again see Renee Zellweger in the leading role.
She will play a character facing life's difficulties after turning 50 and the challenges of motherhood.
The news of her participation is confirmed by the portal Deadline, which specifies that the actress has signed a contract to shoot in this film, based on the 2013 book by Helen Fielding.
In the project, Hugh Grant will also resume his role as Daniel Cleaver and Emma Thompson, known for her role in the third film of the franchise and work on the script.
The participation of Colin Firth remains an open question. The film will be directed by Michael Morris.
Joining the cast as new faces will be Chiwetel Ejiofor, known for films "12 Years a Slave", "Salt", and "The Martian", and Leo Woodall from the series "The White Lotus".
The Bridget Jones film series began with the adaptation of Helen Fielding's eponymous novel, "Bridget Jones's Diary", released in 2001.
