Emergency at Bondi Shopping Center in Sydney, Australia: multiple fatalities, Prime Minister informed

On Saturday, the Bondi Junction Shopping Center became the site of a tragedy where five people were killed. The police report a man who attacked restaurant patrons with a knife and was then shot by police.

The incident occurred around three o'clock in the afternoon. Reported by The Sydney Morning Herald.

Emergency services responded to the scene, and seven injured were taken to hospitals, including one child.
