Kylian Mbappé joins Real Madrid: contract until 2029
Kylian Mbappé, the French football superstar, has signed a contract with Real Madrid until 2029, ending a years-long transfer saga.

French footballer Kylian Mbappé has signed a contract with Real Madrid until 2029, according to the Spanish club.
The transfer of the 25-year-old forward concludes a years-long saga about his move. As early as 2022, Mbappé was considering a transfer to Real Madrid, which had been his favorite club since childhood. However, he decided to extend his contract with PSG on favorable terms.
In the summer of 2023, amid Mbappé's refusal to extend his contract with PSG, the Saudi club Al-Hilal offered 300 million euros for the player, but Mbappé declined the offer.
For Mbappé, joining Real Madrid will be his first experience playing outside of France.
His professional career began in Monaco, from where he moved to PSG in 2017 for around 190 million francs. Mbappé became PSG's top scorer with 256 goals.
This season, he won the league, the French Cup, and the Super Cup. In seven years at the club, he won 17 trophies: 6 league titles, 4 French Cups, 5 Super Cups, and 2 League Cups.
