The "Miss Universe 2024" pageant will be held in Mexico after a 17-year hiatus

The "Miss Universe 2024" pageant will be held in Mexico for the first time in 17 years. The hospitable country is preparing to welcome participants from all over the world.

On November 18, 2023, during the "Miss Universe 2023" pageant, Raúl Rocha Cantu announced that the 73rd ceremony of this prestigious international beauty pageant will be held in Mexico on September 28.

This will be the first time in the past 17 years that Mexico will host participants from around the world. The last time the pageant was held here was in 2007.

The winner of the "Miss Universe 2023" pageant, which was held in El Salvador, was Sheynnis Palacios from Nicaragua.

The "Miss Universe" pageant is considered one of the most prestigious in the world and is part of the so-called "Big Four" along with "Miss World", "Miss International", and "Miss Earth".

It annually attracts the attention of millions of viewers worldwide. Since its founding in 1952, the pageant has changed its geography and format several times but has always remained a symbol of beauty and elegance.

Over the past decades, the pageant has expanded its presence, including countries that had not previously participated, such as China, Vietnam, and Kazakhstan.

Since 2015, the rights to hold the pageant were transferred to Ari Emanuel after a scandal involving former owner Donald Trump.

The organizers of the "Miss Universe 2024" pageant plan to hold a ceremony befitting the status of the event. Mexico, known for its culture and hospitality, is preparing to welcome not only the participants but also numerous guests and viewers from around the world.

In the 2000s, the title of Miss Universe was won by girls from various parts of the world.

It was previously reported that Saudi Arabia will debut at the "Miss Universe" pageant by sending its first representative, model Rumi Alqahtani, to compete in "Miss Universe 2024" in Mexico.
