Russian missile strike on Dnipro: four floors of the building destroyed, one dead, six injured

A Russian missile strike on Dnipro destroyed an apartment building, killing one person and injuring six, including an infant. Rescue operations are ongoing.

Today, Russian forces launched a missile strike on Dnipro. As a result of the attack, four floors of an apartment building were destroyed. One person was killed, and six civilians were injured, including a seven-month-old infant.

Rescue operations are ongoing. Information about the victims is being clarified. Emergency services and law enforcement officers are working at the scene, documenting another war crime by Russia.

According to the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, among the injured are women aged 27 and 30, and a 29-year-old man in critical condition.

People may remain trapped in apartments, as well as in cars near the site of the missile strike. A fire broke out in one of the entrances of the destroyed building.

The head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Lysak, reported from the scene that the condition of the injured women and man is severe, while others are in moderate condition.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reacted to the Russian strike on the nine-story building in Dnipro, stating: "We need an air shield." The president called on allies to strengthen Ukraine's air defense.

He noted that once again, the Russians targeted a civilian object - a residential multi-story building. As a result of the missile strike, the top four floors were completely destroyed, and the fifth floor suffered severe damage.

Head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, sharply reacted to the Russian strike on the multi-story building in Dnipro. He called the occupiers, who target civilians, "animals".

Under the procedural guidance of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war, accompanied by intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
