Ukrainian athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh set a new world record in the women's high jump, clearing 2.1 meters at the Diamond League stage in Paris.

Ukrainian athlete Yaroslava Mahuchikh set a new world record in the women's high jump, becoming the first in history to clear 2.1 meters.

The achievement of Yaroslava Mahuchikh was reported by the Diamond League.

This outstanding result was achieved at the Diamond League stage in Paris, and Mahuchikh cleared the bar on her first attempt.

The previous record of 2.09 meters belonged to Bulgarian athlete Stefka Kostadinova, set at the World Championships in Rome in 1987.
