Shelling of Kostiantynivka: seven injured, one in critical condition

On Friday, August 9, as a result of the shelling of Kostiantynivka by Russian forces, at least seven people were injured.
This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, on his Telegram channel.
The shelling was carried out using artillery, with shells hitting a supermarket crowded with people. One of the injured is in critical condition and is receiving necessary medical care.
Police, rescuers, medics, and other responsible services are working at the scene.
The final consequences of the shelling are still being clarified. Filashkin characterized this shelling as another act of terror by Russian forces targeting civilians.
Updated: As of 12:40, it is known that 2 people were killed and 17 injured as a result of the strike on Kostiantynivka. Search and rescue operations at the site are ongoing.
Earlier, it was reported that the evacuation of children from 28 settlements in the Donetsk region, including the Lyman and Kurakhiv communities, had begun by decision of the local authorities.
