Cora Brinkmann, the former wife of the famous ex-Formula 1 driver Ralf Schumacher, expressed her outrage and pain after he publicly announced his homosexual orientation.

The 49-year-old Ralf Schumacher recently posted a photo on his Instagram with his partner Etienne, accompanied by a touching comment: “The most beautiful thing in life is when you have the right partner by your side with whom you can share everything.”

These words did not leave his ex-wife, with whom he has a 22-year-old son named David, indifferent.

In an interview with Marca, Cora Brinkmann said that she was deeply hurt by the news.

“I would have liked Ralf to involve me or at least inform me of his decision; that would have been a sign of respect,” she shared.

According to Brinkmann, during the time when Ralf was actively competing in Formula 1, there were many rumors about his orientation, and she repeatedly asked him to clarify the situation, but he always denied all the speculations.

“When he announced his coming out, it was like a blow to the heart. I feel like I was used in the marriage,” she said, adding that she now asks herself many questions about whether their marriage was sincere and if Ralf truly loved her.

This unexpected turn in Ralf Schumacher's life has become a topic of discussion not only within his family but also among his fans and the sporting community.

While Ralf has found new happiness, his ex-wife is still dealing with the consequences of this decision, which, in her opinion, has altered their past and cast doubt on their shared future.
