President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky posted footage on his Facebook page showing a rescue operation conducted at the sites of hits and debris falls following a Russian attack on Ukrainian regions.

As a result of the strike that took place on the night of August 27, four people were killed and another 16 were injured.

According to Zelensky, Russian forces used over 90 aerial targets against civilian populations and infrastructure, including 81 Shahed-type strike drones, as well as cruise, ballistic, and aeroballistic missiles.

Despite the successful work of Ukrainian air defense, some targets still reached their objectives.

Commander of the Air Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleschuk, reported that in response to the attack, five Kh-101 cruise missiles and 60 drones were shot down.

Defense operations were conducted in most regions of the country, including Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and other regions.

Zelensky emphasized that Russia will definitely face consequences for these crimes against humanity.

Rescue operations are ongoing, with all services engaged in clearing the rubble and assisting the victims.

It is worth noting that on Monday morning, Russia launched a massive strike on Ukraine, using over a hundred missiles and about a hundred Shahed drones.

The strike was aimed at energy facilities across the country. According to the latest data, five people were killed and 20 were injured.

Russia attacked critical infrastructure in several regions, causing power and water supply disruptions in some cities, including Kyiv.

In response to this attack, Ukraine's Defense Minister called for the removal of restrictions on strikes against Russian military targets.
