Google launches personalized AI experts and new Imagen 3 generation model
Google has begun rolling out new features for Gemini, which utilize personalized AI experts and an improved Imagen 3 image generation model.
As of August 28, Google has started rolling out new features for Gemini Advanced, Business, and Enterprise users, which were previously announced at the Google I/O conference. This was reported in the Google blog.
One of the key innovations is the ability to create personalized AI experts called Gems.
This feature allows users to customize Gemini versions to their needs and receive expert advice on various topics. Users can create their own Gems by giving them a name and setting instructions to use them for solving complex tasks, generating ideas, or writing texts.
To help users get started quickly, Google offers several ready-made Gems, such as a coach for learning, career guidance, brainstorming, and even a text editor.
In addition, in the coming days, the new Imagen 3 image generation model will begin to roll out.
It will become available to Gemini users worldwide. Imagen 3 offers improved image quality and expanded capabilities for creating images in various styles, from photorealism to abstract art.
It is important to note that Google has implemented built-in safety measures for this model to ensure ethical standards are maintained during image generation.
Previously, Google temporarily removed its AI-powered image creation tool due to emerging disputes and flaws.
This tool, recently introduced as part of the Gemini platform, was criticized for errors and controversial responses. According to Demis Hassabis, CEO of Google DeepMind, the service was taken offline to fix these issues and will be relaunched in the coming weeks. Hassabis acknowledged that the tool was not working as intended.
It was previously reported that Google plans to add a web monetization feature to Chrome, allowing websites to accept micropayments for content access, giving users the ability to pay for individual pages.
