New missile strike on Ukraine: children killed, homes destroyed in Lviv and Kryvyi Rih

Today, several cities were affected by the attack on Ukraine, with the most significant destruction recorded in Lviv and Kryvyi Rih.

In Lviv, according to current reports, seven people died, including three children. Missiles hit both apartment buildings and private houses, destroying a large portion of the residential area.

A search and rescue operation is ongoing. Emergency workers have already rescued 12 people from under the rubble, but the clearing of collapsed buildings continues.

In addition, about 40 people were injured to varying degrees as a result of the shelling.

Victims are receiving psychological and medical assistance. An operational headquarters has been deployed at the scene, and police officers are accepting reports from victims and checking for any other casualties in nearby buildings.

At the same time, in Kryvyi Rih, a missile hit a hotel where civilians were present at the time of the strike. A portion of the hotel building was completely destroyed.

Also today, several high-rise buildings, four educational institutions, a pharmacy, and stores were damaged in Kryvyi Rih.

Five citizens were injured, including women aged 62, 83, and 84, a 70-year-old man, and a 10-year-old girl who was hospitalized. This was reported by Serhiy Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration.

Today, during Russia's massive attack, Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed 7 out of 13 missiles and 22 out of 29 drones.

Among the destroyed targets:

• 0 out of 2 Kinzhal missiles;
• 0 out of 2 Kh-22 cruise missiles;
• 4 out of 6 Kh-101 cruise missiles;
• All 3 Iskander-K missiles;
• 22 out of 29 Shahed-131/136 drones.
