Tom Cruise rreveals title and release date for the eighth "Mission: Impossible" movie

The first trailer for the film "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two" starring Tom Cruise has been released. Fans are eagerly anticipating the movie’s release in May 2025.

The Hollywood studio Paramount Pictures and Tom Cruise have unveiled the trailer for the highly anticipated film "Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two." This is the eighth installment in the popular franchise, where Tom Cruise reprises his role as Ethan Hunt.

The film is set to be released on May 23, 2025, after several delays due to the pandemic and the recent actors' strike.

The plot of the new installment focuses on Cruise's character facing off against an artificial intelligence called The Entity. This program can predict its enemies' actions, making it nearly impossible to defeat.

Ethan Hunt must locate and destroy the source of the threat, hidden aboard an old Russian submarine. However, a long-time nemesis, Gabriel, reappears to add drama and tension to the story.

The film also stars Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Hayley Atwell, and Vanessa Kirby. Producers have already shared the first poster with an intriguing tagline: "Every choice has led to this." Judging by online reactions, fans are eagerly awaiting the final chapter of the thrilling franchise.

The first "Mission: Impossible" film, directed by Brian De Palma, was released in 1996. Tom Cruise played special agent Ethan Hunt, becoming a symbol of the spy genre.

The movie, based on the 1960s TV series, launched a franchise renowned for its action-packed sequences and Cruise's unique stunts.

Earlier, it was reported that Kateryna Osadcha presented the series "Znykli," created in collaboration with six directors to tell the stories of people who went missing during the war in Ukraine.

It was also revealed that Tina Karol shared her thoughts with fans about a potential political career, hinting at her ambitions to become Ukraine’s first female president.
