Trump's new statement on Ukraine
Donald Trump stated that his administration will work to stop the war between Russia and Ukraine, expressing concern over the loss of lives.
Newly elected U.S. President Donald Trump, speaking at an event in Florida on Thursday, expressed his determination to have his future administration actively work on ending the war between Russia and Ukraine, as reported by CNN.
He noted that the conflict must end because the continuation of hostilities results in significant casualties among both military personnel and civilians.
“Russia and Ukraine must stop. We will work very hard on this,” Trump said, emphasizing the importance of saving lives and achieving a peaceful resolution.
According to him, his priority will be to protect civilians and prevent further destruction.
Donald Trump also officially announced the appointment of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services, as he shared on his social media.
This decision addresses the pressing issue of rising chronic diseases and the impact of harmful substances on public health.
Kennedy, known for his active stance on environmental protection and criticism of the pharmaceutical industry, promises to reform the department based on transparency and scientific standards.
His main task will be to protect citizens from harmful additives, pollutants, and other threats undermining the health of Americans.
Earlier, it was reported that German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier congratulated Donald Trump on his election victory, while Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock stressed the need for close cooperation between the countries to ensure joint security.
It was also noted that Nikolai Patrushev stated that Trump's victory in the election is due to voter dissatisfaction with Joe Biden’s policies. However, fulfilling Trump’s campaign promises may face challenges.
