On November 14, Donald Trump, recently elected as the 47th President of the United States, hosted a grand reception at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, according to Daily Mail.

The guest list included celebrities, political allies, and close friends. Of particular note were Sylvester Stallone, who called Trump a “mythical figure,” and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a candidate Trump proposed to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.

Donald Trump gave a speech emphasizing that his election inspired the nation and led to economic successes.

He also introduced South Dakota Governor Doug Burgum as his pick for Secretary of the Interior. Governor Burgum was previously a rival of Trump but later became a supporter.

Guests also included politician Matt Gaetz and entrepreneur Elon Musk. Trump praised Musk as a person with “genius intellect” and shared jokes about his frequent visits to Mar-a-Lago.

Trump concluded the evening by expressing gratitude to Argentine President Javier Milei, highlighting how their friendship strengthens the “winds of freedom.” Milei, in turn, called Trump’s victory “the greatest political comeback in history.”

Trump also made a statement about Ukraine, saying that the newly elected U.S. president prioritized ending the war between Russia and Ukraine during a Thursday event in Florida.

According to him, continued hostilities lead to the loss of both military and civilian lives.

Trump emphasized that his administration would actively work towards a peaceful resolution to save lives.

Earlier, it was reported that U.S. Vice Presidential candidate J.D. Vance outlined the key points of Donald Trump’s “peace plan” for Ukraine, which includes establishing a demilitarized zone and Ukraine’s withdrawal from NATO membership aspirations in exchange for guarantees of its independence.

Additionally, it became known that Donald Trump plans to review the U.S. role in NATO, urging European countries to increase defense spending and revise the alliance’s structure, warning of potential reductions in American involvement.
