On December 6, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, in honor of Armed Forces Day, delivered the first batch of the latest "Peklo" missile drones to Ukrainian military forces.

The ceremonial handover took place in the presence of key representatives of the country's military and industrial leadership, including Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, and other high-ranking officials.

The "Peklo" missile drones are a Ukrainian innovation capable of striking targets at a distance of up to 700 kilometers with a speed of 700 km/h. These technologies have already undergone combat deployment, making them a significant addition to the Armed Forces' arsenal.

However, for security reasons, additional technical specifications and the exact number of units transferred remain undisclosed.

The President emphasized that the primary focus now is to scale up production and integrate these new developments into operational combat tasks.

Zelensky expressed gratitude to everyone involved in developing Ukraine's high-tech weaponry, highlighting its comparability to Russian cruise missiles while being significantly more cost-effective.

Earlier, it was reported that the United States announced unprecedented military and financial support for Ukraine, including the supply of advanced weaponry, new sanctions against Russia, and multi-billion-dollar loans, which, according to the White House, should significantly influence the course of the conflict.

It was also revealed that the Bundestag will consider the issue of transferring Taurus missiles to Ukraine at the initiative of the FDP party, which is urging accelerated arms deliveries to strengthen Ukraine’s defense against Russian aggression.
